The Golden State Warriors are building a new green arena. The club’s decision to build a new arena has earned it quite a few headlines. Currently, the Warriors play their home games in Oakland, at Oracle Arena. The new arena will be in the Mission Bay neighborhood of San Francisco. Called the Chase Center, it’s beginning to generate a decent amount of excitement, and the Warriors, for their part, say it will be the best arena in the NBA.
It’s obvious that first responders face a world of stress and anxiety. We need to keep our rescue heroes in mind, and surround them with support, love, and grace. While many people have heard of the psychological toll of combat, few realize PTSD’s devastating impact on first responders—fire fighters, police, and emergency service workers—whose suicide rates have been steadily climbing.
