Eco-Explorers Summer Camp

Kids, do you have what it takes to be an Eco-Explorer? Looking for an exciting, science-based, sea turtle-loving, playing in the water, summer experience? Well, look no further. Become an Eco-Explorer, where children make special connections with ocean to lagoon habitats and wildlife while sharing fun adventures on the water!

The Sea Turtle Conservancy has teamed up with Brevard County Parks & Recs through the EEL (Environmentally Endangered Lands) Program to offer a one-of-a-kind water-loving summer camp. But hurry, there’s only so many seats available! Science plus water equals fun.

Ocean Motion & Much More, is now offered for kids, ages 9 to 15! Campers will have a unique opportunity to make special connections with ocean to lagoon habitats and wildlife while sharing fun adventures on the water! Their exploration begins with snorkeling to discover life below the sea’s surface, then on to kayaking to experience the diversity of the estuary and its islands, next is stand-up paddle boarding for a bird’s eye view of the offshore and observations of onshore sea turtle nesting, and their journey’s ultimate destination is surfing to encounter the elements of the near shore!

Camps are June 4-8, 11-15, 18-22 and 25-29 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Cost of $325 includes transportation, certified aquatic instructors, equipment, t-shirt, one year Sea Turtle Conservancy honorary e-membership, and a complimentary guided sea turtle walk with preferred reservation! Enrollment is limited to 13 children each week.
