EnergyWhiz 2021 will be VIRTUAL May 3-7, 2021
The EnergyWhiz Olympics is all about clean energy and creative kids. Each year, on the first Saturday in May, hundreds of students converge at the Florida Solar Energy Center in Cocoa, Florida to participate in renewable energy themed events.
In May, over 800 students from across Florida invent and compete at the University of Central Florida and Florida Solar Energy Center day-long event.
Get your alternative energy on as Central Florida becomes the inventor and engineering education hot spot. Student designed and built solar cars, electric go-carts, hydrogen powered cars and gadgets and more guarantee and exciting day at the 13th annual EnergyWhiz Olympics. The Florida Solar Energy Center is located Located on Eastern Florida State College’s Cocoa Campus on 1670 Clearlake Road in Cocoa, Florida.
EnergyWhiz Olympics, a daylong event showcasing student-built energy projects. These hands-on renewable energy activities expose students to alternative energy fuel sources and encourage scientific know-how, creative thinking, experimentation and teamwork.
Brevard County Parks and Recreation, in partnership with FSEC, the Florida Solar Energy Center, is sponsoring the EcoLiving Jubilee, where various energy and environmental organizations will be on site to share information about their products and services.
