Keep Brevard Beautiful has several programs that deal with landscaping, xeriscaping and beautification. They do much more than pick up trash. They sponsor recycling education and awareness, help plant trees in our parks, and notices when your business improves your property with its recognition program. And they work to get rid of non-native plants, like the notorious Brazilian Pepper, that invade and displace beneficial plants.

4-H is a community of young people across America who are learning leadership, citizenship and life skills. This past year 4-H celebrated its centennial landmark across the nation. While apparently still the best kept secret in many states, Brevard County 4-H Agents Kristian Chervenock and Renee’ L. Trained 2-1-1 counselors can help connect callers to information about local governmental, health and human services and volunteer opportunities. The agency maintains a comprehensive database of these services which include programs that assist with basic needs, emergency financial assistance, parenting classes, mental health and substance abuse services, domestic violence shelters, mentoring programs, community activities and more.
Traditional methods of exposing an artist’s work have been through gallery exhibits. While effective, artists often find it difficult to get more than a few exhibits each year, and the exposure is limited to the city where the exhibit is held.
